Camas student earns scholarship to spend year in Germany

Camas — Camas High School student Katja Miller is one of 50 American students to earn a scholarship for the 2018-2019 academic year to live with a host family and attend high school in Germany. The scholarship is sponsored by American Scandinavian Student Exchange’s International Student Exchange Programs. The United States and Germany established the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Scholarship Program in 1983, and it has since allowed more than 23,000 students to travel the world while studying.
