Vancouver commuters who use the westbound onramp to state Highway 14 from Evergreen Boulevard will want to choose an alternate route during a two-week closure.

A Washington State Department of Transportation high-impact travel alert says the closure began Monday.

The onramp will be closed around-the-clock for work to replace a water main line.

A second moderate-impact travel alert was issued Saturday night and remained in place as of Monday morning.

Officials report water over state Highway 503 in both directions near Northeast 87th street.

Beyond the alerts and a typical slowdown due to wet roads, traffic flow this morning is looking good.
