The Port of Vancouver recently notched its eighth consecutive clean audit from the Washington State Auditor’s Office.

The audit examined the 2017 calendar year. No deficiencies were discovered.

State auditors examined the port’s procurement and contract compliance; lease revenues; safeguarding of fuel and payroll and financial condition — among other topics.

“Finding no deficiencies year after year showcases the passion and integrity our staff have every day,” Port CEO Julianna Marler said in a news release. “We are deeply committed to accountability and transparency, and we’re proud to have yet another clean audit that demonstrates those values.”

The Washington State Auditor’s Office audits ports and other public entities around the state on an annual basis.
