Clark Talks: Political activist tells why he files complaints

By Jake Thomas, Columbian political reporter
Published: April 12, 2018, 6:05am

In this edition of Clark Talks, Columbian reporters Katy Sword and Jake Thomas talk with Glen Morgan, a Thurston County conservative activist who has filed a prolific number of complaints, primarily targeting Democrats, with the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission.

To his critics, he’s a civic gadfly splitting hairs over relatively harmless errors committed by campaign volunteers. But Morgan says that these errors aren’t so harmless and he’s trying to uphold the state’s campaign finance law.

Later, Sword and Thomas talk with Columbian breaking news reporter Andy Matarrese about his upcoming Sunday story on the bail system and efforts to reform it.
