Goats from a nearby farm wandered over to Monday’s baseball game between Evergreen High School and Mountain View High School and caused quite a stir. The goats are regular spectators at games at Evergreen’s baseball field and have been nicknamed the “Rally Goats.”

Their absence following their appearance at the ballpark Monday was noted. The goats’ influence seemed to fade after they wandered off in the sixth inning and Mountain View turned a 2-2 tie into a 12-3 blowout victory against the home team.

While the goats were still there, some fans protected their food and beverages from the curious animals, and others gave them something to munch on — including a piece of the game program.
