Two Clark County students earn national scholarships

Clark County — Two Clark County students were among 615 students nationwide to earn a 2018 Horatio Alger State Scholarship, valued at up to $10,000 each: Hudson’s Bay High School’s Calaysia Prince and Clark College’s Lauren Choquer of Battle Ground. The scholarships recognize students who have exhibited commitment to continuing their education in the face of adversity. The Horatio Alger Association has awarded more than $143 million in scholarships to 25,000-plus students since 1984.
