THE HISTORIC TRUST — VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION EVENT

The Historic Trust celebrated 75 volunteers, docents and special event personnel at an event at Providence Academy. Those recognized contribute their time, effort, resources and expertise, at Providence Academy, Marshall House, Howard House, Pearson Field Education Center and at Celebrate Freedom events.

John R. McIlvain was honored for his volunteer work. Since 2005, he’s helped produce the Lough Legacy Veteran’s Parade at Fort Vancouver and he has supported The Historic Trust’s Celebrate Freedom events. McIlvain is president of the 142nd Redhawk Community Foundation and is involved in historical preservation and animal welfare organizations.
