Clark baseball holds off Clackamas, 5-4

Lopez, Johnson each have three hits

Chaz Lopez went 3 for 4 with a solo home run and Brady Johnson with 3 for 5 with a triple and RBI as the Clark College baseball team defeated Clackamas 5-4 on Tuesday at Oregon City.

Clark (13-6, 4-2 NWAC South) scored four runs in the third inning to take a 4-1 lead. Johnson had an RBI single, two runs scored on wild pitches, and the fourth run scored on Ben Wagner’s sacrifice fly.

Lopez hit his home run in the seventh inning.

Clark used seven pitcher with Wagner getting the victory after throwing two innings.

Clark and Clackamas (8-10, 3-3) are schedule for doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday. Friday’s games are in Vancouver starting at 1 p.m.
