Teachers hand out Chromebooks to sixth-graders

Orchards — Kids were giddy early this school year at Frontier Middle School, as teachers handed out Chromebook computers for sixth-graders to use in the classroom and at home. The school will distribute the Chromebooks to more than 800 students by the end of December. Giving out Chromebooks to students is part of Evergreen Public Schools’ multiyear effort to get 21st-century learning tools into the hands of students across the district.
