Hockinson — Fire District 3 honored the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks during a ceremony at Station 31. The station staff and fire cadets hosted a ceremony on Sept. 11, where they placed 300 small flags and four larger flags on the front lawn at the station. The flags were to represent the nearly 3,000 people killed at the four sites attacked that day. Clark County council Chair Marc Boldt attended the ceremony and met with the station’s high school fire cadets afterward.
