Ridgefield awards three staffers for their service

Ridgefield — At Ridgefield School District’s convocation on Aug. 23, the district honored three staffers with Exemplary Service Awards: Nicole Bartroff, who works in food service at Union Ridge Elementary School, Chris Poppert, Ridgefield Family Resource Center coordinator, and Steve Rindard, a math teacher at Ridgefield High School. Bartroff won the Partner Employee Award for team members who are employed by a contracted company, which submits nominations for the award at the end of the school year. Poppert won the Classified Employee Award, and Rindard earned the award for Certificated Employees. The classified and certificated employees are determined from our monthly employee of the months.
