Friends host bocce ball tournament for new library

Woodland — Friends of the Woodland Community Library hosted their first Breakfast and Bocce Ball event on Aug. 27. The event featured a bocce ball tournament and a dunk tank, where guests could take turns trying to dunk Mayor Will Finn, Police Chief Jim Kelly, Chamber of Commerce Director JJ Burke and Jennifer Hauan, branch manager for the Woodland library. The event raised $1,100 for the Woodland Community Library Building Fund.
