Survival of Chinook is First Thursday topic

VANCOUVER – Chinook Vice Chairman Sam Robinson will discuss “Persistence for Survival — Chinook People Past and Present” Thursday at the Clark County Historical Museum.

Robinson’s First Thursday presentation will be at 7 p.m. at the museum, 1511 Main St.

Robinson will discuss the history of the Chinook Nation and its relationship to the United States, from first contact to the continuing struggle for federal status.

Admission is $5 for adults; $4 for seniors; $3 for children under 18; and free for museum members. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
