Three hurt in chain-reaction crash on I-205 in Vancouver

Three people were injured early Friday in a chain-reaction crash on Interstate 205 in Vancouver, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred at 6:49 a.m. near Milepost 28 north of Mill Plain Boulevard, when a 2017 Ford F-550 pickup driven by Billy J. Warner, 45, of Kelso crashed into the rear end of 2007 Ford F-150 driven by Kenneth H. Park, 54, of Vancouver, who had stopped in heavy traffic, according to the a WSP release.

The force of the impact propelled Park’s F-150 into the rear end of a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by James R. Evans, 37, of Vancouver, which was propelled into the rear end of a 2006 Hummer H3 driven by Martin M. Garcia of Fairview, Ore., the release said.

The injured were Kenneth Park, James Evans and a passenger in Garcia’s vehicle, Inhwa Park, 55, of Vancouver. All three were treated and released from PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.
