The Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation is hosting a luncheon next month to benefit cancer services.

The Salmon Creek Cares Luncheon is 11:30 a.m. Nov. 16 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. Sixth St. The theme is “Celebrating Women, Inspiring Hope Now.”

Money raised at the event will be used to provide new medical equipment, research and patient care support at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center.

The event will feature a panel of speakers: breast surgeons Nathalie Johnson and Cory Donovan, and gynecologic oncologists Gina Westhoff and Colleen McCormick. The speakers will talk about the latest research and medical care for women’s cancers. Local survivor stories will also be shared.

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased online, legacyhealthgiving.org/salmoncreekcares, or by contacting Shirley Gross at 360-487-3457 or skgross@lhs.org.
