Felida — Skyview High School senior Adam Pozsgai, a fire cadet with Clark County Fire District 6, participated in the Portland Firefighter Stair Climb for Cystic Fibrosis on Sept. 24. During the event, Pozsgai was one of 180 firefighters from around the world to climb 41 flights of stairs in the U.S. Bancorp Tower in full gear. He participated in the event partly to raise money and awareness to fight cystic fibrosis, but also to honor his older brother, Matt Pozsgai, who lives with the disease. Adam Pozsgai raised $5,070 and finished the climb in 11:11.
