Officers arrested three boys Tuesday afternoon after they robbed someone of their shoes at knifepoint, according to police.

Police officers were called to Vancouver Mall around 3:30 p.m., according to dispatch records.

Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said officers found that three boys had approached the victim, who was at the mall bus stop.

One of the three pointed a knife and demanded the victim turn over his shoes. He handed over the shoes, then left.

Kapp said responding officers found the three juveniles inside the mall. They were arrested and taken to the county Juvenile Justice Center.

The victim was unharmed, she said.
