Police locate missing, medically at-risk woman

UPDATE: Police reported at about 11:15 p.m. that Zejna Zelkanovic had been located and reunited with her family. 


Police are looking for help finding a medically at-risk Vancouver-area woman who was last seen Monday afternoon.

According to the Vancouver Police Department, Zejna Zelkanovic, 61, was last seen walking in her neighborhood in the Hazel Dell area, around the 2700 block of Northeast 95th Street.

Zelkanovic is a 5-foot, 5-inch, 185-pound white woman with red and gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and dark-colored, striped athletic pants.

The police said Zelkanovic has physical and mental health issues that aren’t being attended to.

The police asked anyone with information on her whereabouts or who has seen her since Monday afternoon to call 911.
