Sehome of Bellingham ran a balanced offense, spreading the ball between running backs while still passing for 163 yards in a non-league game Saturday at Seton Catholic.
The win snapped a 23-game losing streak for the Mariners, a 2A school playing an independent schedule this season.
Micheal Mindich finished with 153 passing yards and one touchdown, while Dylan Roberts ended with 69 rushing yards and two TDs.
Turnovers were the hurting point for Seton Catholic, turning the ball over five times on interceptions or fumbles.
Seton Catholic’s Tyvauntae Deloney passed for 205 passing yards while Taj Muhammed and Jonathan Stell combined for 57 rushing yards.
