Vancouver – Up to $1 million in Community Development Block Grants and HOME Investment Partnerships Program funding is available or Vancouver projects.
Funds can be used for construction, acquisition and rehabilitation of housing or public facilities, services, economic development and tenant-based rental assistance, if those projects are targeted to benefit low and moderate-income families.
Local governments and nonprofit organizations can apply.
Applications are available online at www.cityofvancouver.us/cdbg starting Monday. Preapplications are due by 5 p.m. Nov. 16. The Vancouver City Council will make funding decisions in May 2018, with awards made between July and October 2018. For those interested, an informational workshop is scheduled from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 30 in the Aspen Conference Room in City Hall.
