A fire destroyed a motor home parked near the Wal-Mart in Hazel Dell Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters got a call about a burning RV at 9000 N.E. Highway 99 around 4:45 p.m., according to emergency dispatch logs.

Clark County Fire District 6 spokesman David Schmitke said firefighters arrived to find an older RV largely engulfed in flames.

No one was inside, he said, and no one was injured.

It’s not clear who the vehicle belonged to, he said, as no one had come forward to claim it by Thursday evening.

The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office was investigating.
