Update: A Vancouver man who has been missing since yesterday has been found and relocated with his family, according to a press release from the Vancouver Police Department. The department thanks the public for their help.

The Vancouver Police Department is asking for help finding a missing man with memory issues.

Samuel Adams, 71, went missing around 3 p.m. Wednesday, after he went for a walk. He left his house, near Southeast 177th Place and Southeast 12th Drive, in east Vancouver near Columbia Valley Elementary School, police said.

Adams is black, about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. Police said he was wearing a burgundy baseball cap and a gray sweater with an Oakland Raiders logo on the front and back.

He’s known to frequent the area’s parks, the police said, although they had been checked.
