Letter: Boldt, council doing good job

By Dan Wilson, VANCOUVER

Clark County council Chair Marc Boldt is doing a good job, as are the other council members. They continue to wade through the mess left by David Madore and his group, making good progress.

I admired Boldt when, after suffering almost complete personal and political ruin by the local GOP, he returned as an independent candidate and won in spite of them. I was extremely disappointed when he decided to become a born-again GOP’er during the last election, supporting the most embarrassing excuse we’ve ever suffered for a president.

But we don’t need a return to the Madoren influence that candidate Liz Pike brings.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
