BATTLE GROUND — Quadrese Teague already has made his presence felt in multiple ways for Hudson’s Bay’s football team this season as a first-year player.
Add the backfield to the mix now, too.
In his first game the backfield, the senior rushed for a game-high 122 yards on 17 carries and scored two touchdowns, including a 1-yard interception return for a score that proved to be the go-ahead score for the Eagles in their 16-13 victory over Prairie on Friday at District Stadium.
Teague also had four catches for 40 yards a week after returning two kickoffs for touchdowns. touchdowns for
Lions knew the speedster Teague would be explosive as receiver and special teams this season, and added after the game, “we knew we have to get him the ball more often.”
