Lt. Gov. Habib discusses economic development in this edition of Clark Talks

By Jake Thomas, Columbian political reporter
Published: October 5, 2017, 6:06am

In this week’s Clark Talks, Columbian reporters Jake Thomas and Dameon Pesanti interview Lt. Gov. Cyrus Habib.

Thomas and Pesanti discuss why Habib was in the region, his thoughts on why the Democratic Party needs to change its game plan, economic development, his recent trip to the Korean peninsula, and what his office does.

Then, Thomas and Pesanti are joined by Katy Sword, The Columbian’s new politics and government reporter, to discuss self-described patriot Justin Forsman’s run for Vancouver City Council against incumbent Councilor Alishia Topper.

They also discuss the large amounts of money that have flown into the race for Vancouver port commissioner.

The show is available for free on Soundcloud, iTunes, Stitcher or wherever you get your podcasts. Contact Pesanti and Thomas about the podcast at podcast@columbian.com.
