Police officers had one in custody after someone was stabbed at Battle Ground Mobile Estates Wednesday afternoon, according to the Battle Ground Police Department.

Police were called to one of the units at the mobile home park, 300 S.W. 7th Ave., around 2:45 p.m.

Battle Ground police spokeswoman Bonnie Gilberti said someone had been stabbed in the hand, and one person had been arrested.

“The suspect is in custody and there shouldn’t be any danger to the public or anything,” she said.

Police activity prompted Maple Grove Middle School to delay release of students at the end of the day. Buses were about a half-hour late to taking students home, the school said.
