Pike to hold ice cream social: Washington state Representative and candidate for Clark County council chair Liz Pike is inviting the public to attend “an old fashioned Barn Party and Ice Cream Social” next week in Ridgefield.

The event will be held Oct. 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rietdyk’s historic barn, located at 512 N.W. Carty Road.

According to a news release, the meet-and-greet event is part of the Camas Republican’s 2018 run for the county-wide council chair position.

At the event, Pike plans to lay her top priority of making Clark County more job friendly and not remaining just “a bedroom community to Portland,” according to the news release.

Sign up for the Oct. 12 event by calling or texting 360-281-8720 or by emailing ElectLizPike@comcast.net.
