Group to raise money for scholarships

The American Association of University Women Vancouver chapter will host its annual Holiday Brunch & Auction from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at Royal Oaks Country Club, 8917 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver.

The Lincoln Elementary School choir, led by music teacher Erik Smith, will entertain guests with traditional holiday favorites, and there will be a silent auction and raffle with proceeds going to the association’s Scholarship Fund. The local chapter will give out $7,000 in scholarships to students at Washington State University Vancouver and Clark College in the coming year.

Preregistration is required and costs $25 per person. For information on how to reserve a spot, contact aauw.vancouver.info@gmail.com. The deadline for reservations is Friday.
