Payten Foster and Nicole Guthrie each had 18 points, Dana Glovick added 15 and Woodland opened its season with a home win.
Foster, Guthrie and Glovick are all front-court players and the Beavers went to them repeatedly. Woodland shot 45 free throws and did not make a 3-pointer.
Glovick added nine rebounds and four steals. Foster had five rebounds and five steals.
“It was a typical first game,” Woodland coach Glen Flanagan said. “Our girls played hard and did what we asked. It wasn’t the prettiest game, but the effort was there.”
