Matt Gama scored 15 points to lead the Spudders, who fell short in their season opener against one of the state’s better Class 2B teams.
Adna averaged 66 points a game in reaching the final 12 at state last year.
“It was a pretty good defensive game for us,” Ridgefield coach Jason Buffum said. “We guarded the 3-ball really well.”
Kade Ramey and Cameron Short each scored nine points for Ridgefield in a game that was tight throughout.
“It was a great opening game for us,” Buffum said. “We really struggled in the jamboree, so it was good to put that behind us. You’d like to win the close games. We had our chances, but we came up short.”
