Volunteer Opportunities

Bloodworks Northwest, a blood donation center, seeks donor monitors, ambassadors, and registration volunteers.

Clark County Food Bank seeks help in its Fresh Alliance program. Volunteers are needed to drive or ride in a 20-foot box truck, picking up produce from area partners, 7:15 to 10:30 a.m. weekdays. Produce boxes weigh up to 40 pounds.

Furry Friends, a no-kill cat rescue, seeks volunteers to take pictures, assist the adoptions coordinator, do grant research and submit fund-raising proposals, and lead its dinner/auction committee. Retired vet techs to help with weekly medical sessions are also needed.

Free Clinic of Southwest Washington is looking for certified dental assistants and pharmacists to provide regular volunteer help.

Gifts for Our Community/Divine Consign seeks customer service help at the cash register.

Habitat for Humanity seeks cashiers at its retail store during morning and afternoon shifts.

Share seeks volunteers to fill backpacks with food for children in need, and to deliver them.

Clark County Public Works — Parks Division seeks volunteers for the Orchards Community Park annual clean-up. Collect litter, wipe down play structures, smooth bark chips, clean picnic shelters, benches and tables, or help with invasive plant removal, 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 28.
