The fire that destroyed and damaged vehicles at a sales lot on St. Johns Boulevard in Vancouver early Monday morning appears to have been intentionally set.

Two cars at Woodrow Truck and Equipment Sales, 3205 St. Johns Blvd., were “heavily burned,” Vancouver fire marshal Heidi Scarpelli said, with damage valued at $4,500. Three more vehicles had minor damage.

The investigation is continuing.
