The victim of an apparent shooting who was found in a Vancouver Walgreens parking lot on Monday afternoon has been identified by Vancouver police as Kanisorn P. Morgan, 19.

Police were called about a man with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of Walgreens at Northeast 98th Avenue and East Mill Plain Boulevard just before 4 p.m. Monday. They discovered Morgan there and transported him to a local hospital.

No further information was available on Tuesday afternoon, but Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said: “We do not believe that this was random and do not believe there is any threat to the public. The circumstances into what precipitated the assault is still being investigated.”
