Man, woman injured in altercation Saturday

A Saturday morning altercation between a man and woman in west Vancouver is being investigated by the police department’s major crimes and domestic violence units. Few details on the incident were available.

An assault with a weapon was reported to 911 around 10:30 a.m. Saturday at 208 E. 27th St. Vancouver Police Department Sgt. Darren McShea said he couldn’t say what occurred during the altercation or what type of weapon was involved. He did say a man and a woman were both injured and transported to local hospitals.
