The National Grange organization named Clark County sheriff’s Deputy Tim Gosch its Law Enforcement Officer of the Year on Nov. 11.
Gosch, who has been in law enforcement since 1993, was named for the national organization’s honor at its 151st annual convention last Saturday in Spokane.
In June, the state Grange organization named Gosch its Policeman of the Year for 2017.
In the Fargher Lake Grange’s nomination form for the state award, the local Grange highlighted Gosch’s service in lobbying for the honor. Gosch has been awarded five certificates highlighting exemplary performance, a life saving award, a police life saving medal and a Purple Heart, and has been nominated the agency’s deputy of the year.
Gosch has also racked up multiple letters of appreciation and recognition for his work in the community.
He did not attend the Spokane conference, according to the Grange, but later was informed of the honor.
