A Vancouver agency offering free in-person assistance for enrolling in health plans is expanding its hours Saturday as part of a statewide push to get residents enrolled before the holidays.

Officials with Washington Healthplanfinder, the state-based health insurance exchange, announced the “Get Covered WA” campaign on Thursday. In Vancouver, the Warshauer Agency, 609 Main St., Suite 100, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to help people enroll in 2018 health and dental plans.

The deadline to enroll is Dec. 15 for health coverage that begins Jan. 1. Open enrollment closes on Jan. 15.

Those seeking free in-person assistance can also find trained navigators and brokers by clicking the “Customer Support” link on the Healthplanfinder website, www.wahealthplanfinder.org.
