Nominees for the Week 10 fall sports prep athlete of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian fall sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Nov. 11.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address, one vote per IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

LIZ CANTON, COLUMBIA RIVER SOCCER: Canton allowed one goal in two state wins and made the game-winning save in a penalty-kick shootout against Bellingham.

HAILEY GROTTE, LA CENTER GIRLS SWIMMING: Grotte placed second in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle at the 2A state meet.

MADDIE KEMP, CAMAS GIRLS SOCCER: Kemp scored three goals as Camas sealed a trip to the state semifinals with a 4-1 win over Skyline.

ZOE MCBRIDE, PRAIRIE VOLLEYBALL: McBride had 59 kills and 50 digs in four matches as the Falcons placed fifth at 3A state.

KENADI MCCASKILL, RIDGEFIELD VOLLEYBALL: McCaskill was the defensive star with more than 50 digs in four matches at the 2A state tournament.
