Arson investigators are looking into a mysterious car fire early Saturday morning that engulfed a vehicle after an apparent explosion.
The Vancouver Police Department and fire crews responded to a fully engulfed car fire at 3:43 a.m. Saturday. Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department, said a caller reported two bangs followed by the blaze at the intersection, which is just south of Burnt Bridge Creek Elementary School.
“It seemed a little suspicious so we’re putting the arson team on it,” Kapp said.
