For the third year in a row, the city of Vancouver will host Korey’s Joy Drive.

The toy drive is in memory of Korey Cochran, a city employee who died at 38 from brain cancer.

“Korey’s Joy Drive is the city’s way of remembering Korey,” said Katherine Nye, IT technical services manager and Cochran’s former supervisor. “Together, with community support, we will bring a joyful and memorable Christmas to so many deserving families in our community.”

The city will collect new, unwrapped toys from Monday until Dec. 11. Donations will be delivered to Randall Children’s Hospital and Open House Ministries the week of Dec. 18.

Drop-off locations are available in Vancouver and Portland. For a full list of sites, visit www.cityofvancouver.us/parksrec/page/koreys-joy-drive.
