Clark College freshman midfielder Eric Hernandez and sophomore forward Facienne Graham were named
Northwest Athletic Conference South Region MVP’s on Tuesday.
Hernandez, from Hillsboro, Ore., led the Pengins with nine goals this season.
Graham, from Ashland, Ore., had 15 goals and 10 assists, helping Clark reach the NWAC semifinals for the first time. Clark (13-2-1) plays Highline on Friday at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila.
Also named to the South-East region all-star team from the Clark women’s team were midfielders Rylee MacDonald (sophomore from Camas) and Sarah Tuebner (freshman from Salem, Ore.), defender Maddison Maffeo (sophomore from Battle Ground), and goalkeeper Maggie Higgins (freshman from Longview).
Clark players also named to the South-East region all-star team were midfielders Colton Mannhalter (freshman from Sisters, Ore.) and Kento Oudomphong (sophomore from Portland), defender Vladimir Romano (sophomore from Hillsboro), and goalkeeper Miguel Martin (sophomore from Terrebonne, Ore.).
All-star matches will be played on Sunday at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila, prior to the NWAC championship matches.
