Turkey Trot to raise money to aid schools

RIDGEFIELD — The Ridgefield Public Schools Foundation will host its Turkey Trot 5K/10K walk/run on Nov. 23 with proceeds going to the foundation and the Ridgefield Family Resource Center.

The race starts at 9 a.m. at View Ridge Middle School, 510 Pioneer St., Ridgefield. Registration is $25 for adults, $20 for school district staff and $15 for students.

Anyone interested can register or download a registration form at www.ridgefieldpsf.org/turkey-trot. Registrations received by No. 15 will include a T-shirt.

Non-perishable food items will be accepted during race packet pickup on Nov. 22 and at registration prior to the race to benefit the Ridgefield Family Resource Center. Each item donated will earn a raffle ticket into a drawing to win $100 worth of gift cards at local Ridgefield restaurants.
