City of Vancouver soon switching parks to winter hours

Beginning Monday, winter hours will be in effect in many Vancouver parks. Gazebos and park shelters will close at 6 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. Winter hours will be in effect through March 12, when daylight saving time resumes. Parks with winter hours include: Esther Short Park, Leverich Park, Marshall Community Park, Shumway Park, Evergreen Park, LeRoy Haagen Memorial Community Park and David Douglas Community Park.
