Washougal High School students honored for STEM work

Washougal — Three Washougal High School students were honored by the American Association of University Women for their work in mathematics, science and technology classes. Rosemarie Coburn-Valadez was recognized for her interest and ability in science, Colbi Huff was honored for her creativity in welding and Phoebe Walker earned the distinction for achievements in mathematics. The three students were selected by their school staff and were invited to a reception with their families to receive a certificate marking their achievements in the school’s science, technology, engineering and math classes.
