Riders donate cash to coffee house

Minnehaha — A dozen members of the Columbia River Chapter of the American Spyder Ryders gathered at the Kleen Street Recovery Cafe to present a $500 check to the cafe’s directors, Jeff Talbott and Mary Pekkala, to help in their mission of assisting the homeless, particularly homeless veterans. Many members of the club are veterans themselves and were interested to learn about the work being carried out by volunteer-driven Kleen Street, which serves approximately 800 homeless each month.
