Battle Ground honors students heading to military

Battle Ground — Battle Ground Mayor Philip Johnson and the rest of the city council honored some graduating high school seniors at the council’s May 15 meeting. It was the city’s fifth annual Military Appreciation Night, where the city honors seniors graduating high school who are heading to the military. There were 27 students honored at the meeting. The students enlisted for the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps and National Guard.
