Two men reportedly knocked down and robbed the front desk clerk at the Comfort Suites hotel near the Vancouver Mall Tuesday.

Police were called to a report of a robbery at the hotel, 4714 N.E. 94th Ave., around 2 p.m., according to dispatch records.

Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said two men jumped over the front counter, pushed a clerk down and then robbed her before fleeing in a dark-colored SUV.

No one was hurt, Kapp said, and no weapons were seen or implied during the robbery.

Kapp said officers, with the help of police dogs, searched the area for the suspects, but were unsuccessful.
