Police are investigating after two men reportedly robbed a convenience store in east Vancouver.
Officers were called to the convenience store at the Shell gas station, 16320 S.E. Cascade Park Drive, just before 3 a.m. Friday, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.
Two men reportedly entered the store and engaged the cashier in conversation, Kapp said. One man then grabbed the cashier and punched them in the face, and the other pointed a gun at the cashier, Kapp said.
After robbing the business, the suspects fled, Kapp said. Officers searched the area and attempted to track the culprits with a police dog, but did not locate the them.
Descriptions of the suspects were not immediately available. Detectives are expected to follow up on the investigation, Kapp said.
