Clark College hosts health fair

Clark College will hold its second annual Healthy Penguin Walkabout on June 3.

The free health fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at Gaiser Hall, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver. Guests can register at Gaiser Hall and receive an event passport beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The focus of the free, family-friendly fair is the effect of sugar on mental health and wellness.

The fair will include personal health assessments, such as blood glucose level, risk for dental cavities, body mass index and body fat percentage, balance testing, diabetes risk, blood pressure and sleep quality assessment. The event will also include children’s activities, healthy snacks, souvenirs, raffles and prizes.
