Ridgefield – Emily Enquist was appointed to the Ridgefield School District’s board at a special meeting on Thursday.
Enquist has four children in the district, and is involved with Parent Teacher Organization activities. She’s a classroom volunteer at Union Ridge Elementary School and fundraised and canvassed for the district’s bond campaign.
She is also a member of the Ridgefield Fourth of July Sponsorship Committee and the Ridgefield Fourth of July Scholarship Program Committee, and helps with the annual Mayor’s Ball.
The District 1 seat was formerly held by Jeff Vigue who served on the school board for 10 years.
