Wildlife refuge photo contest now underway

RIDGEFIELD — The 2017 Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge photo contest has begun. Adult and youth photographers are encouraged to submit their favorite nature photos shot within the boundaries of the refuge. The best photo in the adult category will win a $300 gift card and young photographers will win a $100 gift card from Pro Photo Supply, respectively.

Photos must be submitted by Sept. 5 to www.ProPhotoSupply.com.

All entries must be digital JPEG format and no more than 5 megabytes in size. Photographers may submit up to six images.

The contest is open to both professionals and amateurs.
